Surprise! You Made the List!

It was quiet on Sunday afternoon and I hopped on Facebook.

One of my colleagues and good friends posted that she made the Top 25 Women in Pharmacy list by @talk to your pharmacist podcast by Hillary Blackburn. It is well deserved . She is a dynamo in the pharmacy community.

So I hopped on to see who else was on the list. Loe and behold, my name was there, along with 24 other incredible women pharmacists (including a business partner, Anna)! All I know is that I keep following the path I feel called to. I cannot take any credit for this. I am grateful and humbled.

We just finished up March (Women’s Month) and finalized our list for the top Women in Pharmacy. This list includes those established in their careers and some who are the next generation of pharmacy leaders. These women range from association leadership to academia to chief pharmacy officers to entrepreneurs. Thankful to all the women who have blazed the trails before us, who serve as role models, who are our biggest cheerleaders, and who challenge us to keep pushing our boundaries and breaking glass ceilings. Let’s keep growing the next female leaders in the profession by mentoring others coming after you to help advance them in their careers. This list below is not in order but a total list of our top 25 picks for women in pharmacy, many others are also trailblazing and hope to see them next year.
