I spend a lot of time counseling patients on lifestyle changes or simple changes versus medicine unless you absolutely need it. One of my secret weapons is RAW apple cider vinegar. I recommend 2 capfuls in about 4 ounces of water with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Sometimes I add a bit of honey to a warm concoction. This helps your body use blood sugar more effectively, may decrease pain and inflammation, and decreases appetite by increasing your feeling of fullness.
